Do More Of What You Love 

Even when you don’t feel like it’s good enough.

Even when you don’t feel adequate. 

Even when you don’t feel like it.

My most recent 30 Day Challenge was to sing every day. I mentioned in my previous post that I have always loved to sing, but haven’t done it much in recent years. Honestly, I’m not sure why. Lack of opportunity? Or, more likely, just lack of me pursuing the opportunity. But I’ve missed it terribly. There were a few days in the 30 where I didn’t feel up for it, didn’t want to use the energy. My challenge had become a chore. But I did it anyway. And ya know what? It felt so good. I got out of my head and into my body, my voice. It changed my energy and made me happier as I continued on with my day.

So, I say do more of what you love. Even when it feels like work. Even when it’s last on your list of to dos. Even when you feel like you don’t have time. Because it creates change. Because it will make you feel good. Because you deserve to be happy. 

Whatever you love – Do that thing! 

(Also, in case you are wondering about November’s 30 Day Challenge, I’m continuing to do more of what I love. Writing. I’m going back to journaling each day – at least a page a day about whatever I want. That’s the goal. But I’m also choosing this in the hopes that I will take action and write some blog posts that have been rolling around in my head. Maybe I’ll even get a step closer to the children’s book I’ve always dreamed of writing. Who knows where the things you love might lead. ☺️)
